Faith offers hope, inspiration, encouragement and peace during times of uncertainty and when dealing with adversities. In a battle against mental health I discovered that my thought process needed to be examined. Elevation Church, Pastor Steven Furtick offered many studies on the concept of our thoughts; and the Holy Spirit used many of his sermons to minister to me.
My name is Monique Cole Garcia. However I go by “MoeNow” on my YouTube Channel.
I am extremely excited to release my 2023 Debut album titled, “Repetition Of Wise Thoughts”. The concept behind this album derives from the biblical scripture found in the King James Version of Philippians 4:8, In a conscience effort to implement the teaching in this scripture, I decided to devote my time to creating and fostering, what I call “Repetition of wise thoughts”. This concept requires the ability to be accountable for the thoughts you choose to entertain; while understanding you can’t control every thought that enters your mind. It’s consciencely living with intention when you decide what you watch, listen to, and submerse yourself in. Basically, bringing your thoughts into submission against Gods word.
I use biblical application combined with real life experiences to deliver lyrics that are intended to offer hope, encouragement and edification; my main purpose and intention is to provide musical content, that renews the mind. My goal is to share my music with others, so they find encouragement and receive techniques to combat negative thinking. I am committed to creating positive content, driven by the motive to create healthy vibes through intellectual property that can surpass my physical life span. One of the things that makes my music unique, is my strong-textured vocals, combined with lyrics that profess the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The first 3 singles being released are:

The story behind my songs
What I hope to convey in “Thorns”, is that even something beautiful can have flaws, let-downs, disappointments, and even ugly parts; an example of this is Jesus’s work on the cross. This is a beautiful display and gesture of love, yet what he had to endure was less than desirable. I believe the disciple Paul was speaking of sin; when he speaks of “the thorn in his side”, which served as a reminder of his need for Jesus. And that is precisely what I hope the listener feels, their need for Jesus.
My intention with “Don’t Cry” comes from my personal desire to overcome traits and destructive behaviors that I constantly find myself struggling with. I want the listener to feel inclusivity and encouragement to stay in the fight; if you don’t like something change it, if you can’t change it, then change your attitude. Don’t give up willingly. Be determined to win, and speak it into existence, for we call things that are not, as though they are.
I wrote “In The Pain” for my daughter, who struggles with mental health issues. My intention is to leave an encouraging word in the event God decides to call me home. I want my daughter to know she is valued, has worth, is important and loved; that she is not alone, since God is the creator of our fates all we must do is trust him, and he will guide us through our darkest hour. In fact, often times it’s when we are at our lowest points that God does his greatest work. Once the song was completed, I decided it has potential to encourage and help others.
